In reality,,,,That critter had a rather nasty case of mange,,I've busted a couple of fox that had it that I saw while chuck hunting,,more to put them out of misery than anything else,,And I don't get any closer to them than the distance when I pulled the trigger.And now that buzzards are mentioned,,,I don't recall them eating the ones I left,,And if a buzzard won't eat it,,,there's something seriously wrong with the merchandise 
Someone shot a critter identical to that one in maryland this summer,,dnr investigated it and determined that it was a fox with the worst case of mange on record.Have fun!!!Clay
