Colorado Public Land for Pheasant?
Anyone know of a good SWA/Walk In Area for pheasant and/or quail? (That they want to share that is. LOL).

I am a disabled Veteran and can't walk more than a couple hours of hours at a time (rather slow at that).

PM me if you think (and desire) you know somewhere that might work for me.

I've went twice so far. Once at Tamarack SWA (it was way too big for me to hunt) and once at a Walk-in area near Fort Morgan (nice cover, but it was all tracked up by other hunters).'

Thanks.

Season ended this week. No pictures but I did get into a lot of birds and had the great pleasure of hunting with two gents and a GSP that I ran into out in some CRP on my last hunt.

As to stories, not much to tell I walked and walked and occasionally a rooster would come up in range and I might get a shot off and occasionally one would fall at the shot.

Thinking now about getting a little Berreta 20 ga O/U for next season.

Many thanks to all concerned.
