I still think that one of these:

Combined with the previously pictured .50 Gau/19a would do the trick. The loader is too damn slow to catch kitty.

TM, a noble idea but you will have problems with accuracy that will preclude lap plinking, this due to instability transverse to the moment arm tangent, inverse to the thrust line, slug^2. The electric Gattling generate hellacious recoil impulse, even the lowly minigun can roll a Mule when aim aspect exceeds 45* from centerline.

I would project however, that if mounted on an actual utility truck, it would tend to noticably reduce customer complaints.

Bah, who needs "lap plinking" the great thing about it is it doesn't matter if the furball is hiding in the woods - ya just mow down the trees! Here's a formula to counter your argument:

1500RPM + Raufoss + SLAP = one seriously dead cat

Plus, with the elevation that the bucket give you, you can see 'em from a long way off!

Wooo Hoooo! Guess what?! I found out today that a fellow that lives not to far from here is the only private party in the US of A that owns and operates his very own minigun! WOW! Plus, it's mounted on some sort of tracked vehicle!

Time to recruit him, and show him how to help the world AND grease his treads at the same time!

They have a machine gun shoot twice a year at the range and he makes an appearance then. I must exchange cards when he shows up at the next one.

Sounds kinda like a ground-bound "Puff the Magic Dragon" C-130.

Well, you may be right, who knows. It was put to me that there were some other groups that had them, but only this one self propelled knut. In the field of battle the difference has no merit.

Once again, I see I have to "enlighten" certain posters of this board. That browning 1919 is barely adaquete for field mice, let alone the foul Felinus Domesticus, you need something more like this:

While not as impressive as the Ma duece, I currently own a Rem 700 1000yrd BR gun in .300 Winchester - friggin' thing weighs over 25 pounds without a scope Unfortunatly, my current financial situation doesn't allow me to get it up and shooting.
