hughjassScoring Again
Credit to NS Sherlock for bring up scoring, but I would like to propose the following system:
Difficulty 0-3 pts
Obviously the more difficult the more points.
Effect/style 0-3 pts
the more devastation, the better. Folks using primitive weapons can score on style. Killing with a bow doesn't get more pts, but putting an arrow between the eyes would get you 3 pts.
Specimen 0-2 pts
A healthy vigourous crat ought to score better than a diseased puss.
Presentation. 0-2 pts.
This is where Old Elk Hunter comes in. Shooting a box of kittens in front of their owner, gets a full 2 pts. Placing a ventilated cat on the street in front of the owners house to fake a 'car accident' that ought to be worth 1 point. One needs to be careful with presentation points that you do not risk being arrested.
Feel free to make any adjustments to the proposed scoring system.

DigitalDanHugh, I do appreciate the thought you put into this one but I have to admit to being tainted as a youth by the scoring system used to judge surf contest. They had some guidelines back then, but mostly they used a decible reading of the crowd. Fat guys that yelled "Cowabunga!" could skew the results quite a bit, and this is why surfer dudes turned to pot early on. It helps to make your friends really fat.

N. S. SherlockYou right Dan, but I think that the Hughjass system takes into account the loudness of the splat, wop, wap, zap, frap, etc., from the projectile impact. However, the system may need his tweak to adjust for the gentle thump bump of a tire or the "smuck" of a bowling ball from a mortar smushing a rabid tom into the earth. N.S.
