DigitalDanA vicious rumor
I have heard there be some crats infesting the bottom country along the Oconee river just north of Dublin, Ga. I have packed my duffel, loaded supplies and ammo in preparation. I am taking my 77/44 w/ the Paper Patch loads, the Contender Carbine for the light work. My knife is sharp, and my blood is hot!

There's gonna be some Spring Cleaning is a couple of days up there, and it's probably gonna last a couple of weeks. I'll miss you all until then, but promise a grand spectacle of literary regurgitation upon my return!
Tick wants to go so bad he wet his pants... Mebbe I will, mebbe I won't.

wolferDan good luck in Georgia. You might consider a side by side and some bibs, just to fit in.I'm headed out early in the A.M. for the last 2 days of the Antelope season,Ma Wolfer has an Elk tag to fill and we have 4 or 5 deer tags left.Got a week off so I'll be gone from the puter. We had a short scouting trip and found 22 head of Elk in a nasty little out of the way spot. There's about 3000 Elk in her district which isn't 15 miles wide. She's real excited, going to use a Heavy barreled .308 with 150 grain corelocks.I have 5 new knives in my pack.I better go touch them up.

N. S. SherlockYou have a pretty fair chance of seeing very large coyotes there. Make a good cat substitute. Good luck. ned

DigitalDanThank you all, especially you Ann. I'm an official blogger now. "Garaguar" is my name, Field Lions be my game!

Oh yeah, out in the woods it has long been established that Dan pees on the woods, not in his cammo.

Thanks again.
Ned, there's been a bunch of 'yotes meet their end on our lease. 3 of them last season in just one day. Bunch of mutts and a few slippers, never a crat though. The lease I had when I had an Ex, before she was my Ex., well there were packs of dogs, and prides of ranch cougars. It was a bloody place for a long time. Buckshot and 30-30's, uuuummhmmmmmm.
Wolfer, good luck on the elk hunt. Ma Wolfer will do just fine! We'll have to arrange a rendezvous when it's all over!
