Kamo GariWhoa! Beautiful stuff. Bet you had fun getting those full mount rams (and their perch) in the house.

David CulpepperYou have some real beauties there. That is a whole lot of mounts, I have a long way to go to catch up but that will be the fun part.

wapiti7308, where did you shoot your 2 mouflons? I've been talking to a guy about shoot one and I was wondering what a good one would score. Or how long of horn length is considered a monster.............thanks, wapiti7

308SakoGentleman, thanks for nice comments...
The mouflon were taken on my wifes fortieth birthday with Eugene Yap on Mona Loa during an eruption... very exciting and enjoyable experience. That hunt no longer exists unfortunately as the land became part of a volcano national park. The animals are all doomed for being a non-indigenous speices.

308SakoBuffybr,
For now there is no need to seek more wall space. If I were to do it over I would definately option for a greater number of European mounts, and just pictures.

Luke BlathewickGreat pics 308, how about a closer shot of the wolverine? Great whitetails too, are they fair chase? All in all a great trophy room.
14 December 2006, 18:57
308SakoLuke, The whitetails all were taken fair chase... no fences, and many many years of patience, a few dollars as well. Not a wolverine: That's a Fisher "cat" as we Northeaster's get to see every once in a while. Member of the weasel family though.

shootawayI noticed looking out your window that you are in the woods therefore you don't need trophy mounts because they best go were they should not go.

Luke Blathewick308, I looked again and sure enough it was a fisher

Congrats again and great trophy room, a place I would to sit and have a beer in, the stories alone you must have would be great to hear.
