Hi

I have a Euro mount of a Kudu. The animal was shot about 13 months ago and the mount has been hanging since March.

It now appears to have a 'white' or light coloured 'mould' on about 6 inches of one horn.

The humidity is held at about 45% and it hangs fairly close to a ceiling fan.

Any ideas???

Is it mould?

Has anyone else had this problem?

What do I do?

Could it be salt or cleaning compounds from camp preparations leaching out?
