Can we get a close up picture of the Kudu mount? Is it a pedestal mount?
13 February 2009, 21:18
A.DahlgrenI dont have my camera at the moment - but yes it is a pedestal ( with spears that is holding the shield up) It turned out nice.

I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Land CruiserAmazing room. Love those armchairs, very authentic. Cigars are probably detrimental to skins, etc, but once in a while I wouldn't be able to resist myself. Way to go!

Hawkeye MountaineerGreetings, A.Dahlgren, re: your "little cigar room"...
I know it's been about 2.5 years since you shared such with us, but I recall that I was impressed with it and so were others:

Simple Elegance... Absolutely superb... Very tastefully done... Absolutely amazing... The rooms are as perfect as can be.. i love the ceiling details... the wallpapers from some English design company...
It just plain works great. It does look like a wonderful place to relax, read a book, share camaraderie [and perhaps cigars] with friends!-And to those in the States:
Happy Independence Day... Have a blessed 4th...
and may God Bless America.

Anton,
I love your room. It is very well thought out with great trophies.
Thanks for recognizing our 4th celebration!

Amazing! I would have to build a house around a room like that.

Idaho SharpshooterThis is a marvelous design for a "Cigar Room.".
Ashton VSG's, Fuentes Opus Opus X's; or are you able to stock Cubans? That is part of the joy of Safari, stopping at the cigar store and perusing the walk-in humidor.
thanks for sharing,
