SaeedClose ups of ostrich and elephant skins used in the room.
The reddish elephant skins are from elephants shot in Tanzania, while the lighter elephant skins are from those shot in Zimbabwe.
The different colourings is due to the different diets the elephants eat.

Joe R. LockWOW! Very nice is all I can say. You must be a very wealthy man. The only thing I have from Zimbabwe is a pair of Courtney boots.

GrenadierBeautiful and very tastefully done. What kind of wood are the sofa tables made of? Are those reptile skins in the frames on each side of the buffalo?

pagosawingnutVery tastefully done. Nice layout.

SaeedThe frames items on either side of the buffalo are very old cloth.
Apparently they were used as currency sometime in the past.
The buffalo, by the way, is 49" across.
It is the biggest and easiest buffalo I have ever shot.
We saw him and another bull running into the hills as we were driving to a leopard blind.
We jumped out of the truck and shot both of them.
We continued to our leopard blind, and the truck went back to load them.

Very nice trophy room. Some truly great trophy's.
The use of your animal leather was very good in the furniture.
Your gun closet looks to have a good variety of rifles for your use.
The cloth was used for currency you say? WOW.

BaxterBA nice room to sit around and chat about past hunts for sure. I really like the zebra-faced pillows... have never seen that but really unique.
The wood on the cases looks like Macassar ebony but not sure. There is also a wood, whose name escapes me, that has very open pores on the ends but looks like this on the edge...in any case, nice!

txsouthpawA beautifully decorated room done with taste and class. Not overbearing with trophies, but with lots of grandeur. Very well done, Saeed!

SkylineSaeed................ that is a beautiful trophy room. Nowadays, when so many seem to be trying to compete with the displays in the Natural History Museum, it is refreshing to see your personal space.
Thanks for posting the photos.

SaeedThe credit all goes to my wife, Hanna.
She is the one who did all this by herself.
According to Walter, "she has VERY good taste.
Except may be in choosing a husband!"

Any chance we could see a close up of it from a couple of different sides?

SevensSaeed, I'm curious what happens with all your other animal heads? I know I've seen photos somewhere on here of several crates worth of heads being unloaded with all the mounts lined up in the yard for photos.
