Those are some great mounts! Good work too..
I know the problem of placing trophies in a normal house.. Smiler
When I`m going to build my own house, a BIG trophy-room is first priority.. Hope my girlfriend agrees.. Smiler

If the next 14 are as good as these mounts it would be worth buying a new house to do them justice...

Great work, the Zebra particularly is very well done.

I love the color on that eland. My PH wouldn't let me shoot a nice bull like that, they already had him sold.

Thanks for the comments. My taxidermist told me tha that the Zebra was the largest head he ever did. It is quite heavy as the manniquin was the largest made and still required alot of clay to fill in.
I shot the Eland in 2002. When I arrived, I hadn't planed on shooting one. We saw about two dozen older bulls with coats like that. Once I saw them I knew I wanted one. It was the first african animal I shot.

Nice display you've got there - I really like the waterbuck.

Those are really beautiful. I'm sure they will even look better in the new house!

Is that wildebeast giving us the "evil eye" or what? Great realism.

Dustoffer, Of all the mounts the Wildebeest has the best attention to detail. My Taxidermist entered it in a local show and won 1st place professional and best game head. I think he was sad to see it go.

What a wonderful memory these trophies must bring you.
