cchuntercchunters trophy room
Since I spend most of my time at work I thought it would be a good idea to have the trophy room there. Just take the laptop and quickly transfer to Africa!

I like your room! Very glad to see the backskins on the floor, I to keep all mine! Great looking room!!

The way you have the heads mounted on the stands, good!!!!

Hey, I see the Giraffe skull and the back skin, where's the shoulder mount?

cchunterThanks for those comments
I had to rush some of the mounts to use them on a show and the taxidermist didn't have the remaining 13 shoulder mounts, 1 Piedestal Eland, 1 Off mounted Waterbuck, 1 full Black Wildeebeest and the Piedestal Giraffe ready when we had to ship

cchunterThanks Bob
The bases are all made of 2x4s and filled with two garden stone bricks. I made these for an exhibition were I knew I couldn't attatch anything to the wall.

Frans DiepstratenNice idea on the "pedestals". I've been thinking about something to hang trophies on without turning my (until recently rented) walls in to Swiss cheese. I'm thinking if I make one nice enough I can put my ram in the living room, instead of in the basement!
I'm seeing too much "Africa" these days. Whether it's the buffalo hunt draw, or the rain we had for the last few weeks, or the .416 I've been fiddling with, or Keith's impending marvelous trip to Cameroon, but something tells me I need to go there to hunt this time.
"Honey, I need $10,000! Can we postpone doing the basement for a few years?"
