OldsargeBein' a Budget Bwana, m'self, m'trophy room is the back bedroom in m'rather small bungelow, don'tcherknow. Haven't been able t'acquire a decent roomfull, what? How'ver, plans are afoot t'tear down the garage and increase the display area . . . not t'mention givin' me a place t'paint.
These'r m'bronze medal eland that I tracked fer three days until it got jolly personal, an ancient kudu that I happened t'fall into, two impala (one of 'em's a gold medal, regular bruiser that one) and a matched pair of warthog skulls, his 'n' hers, rather. The photo of two jumbo in the sunset is a signed numbered edition.
This is the first trophy I ever acquired, a Barren Ground Caribou from Lake Courageous. Lovely antlers but not quite big enough for the book. Tough! The fish are a couple of huge fellers I stumbled onto, a greyling and a rainbow. Couldn't weigh'em, yer know, just measured them and threw 'em back.
Another view of the 'bou and 'bow with an original print I won at a Quail Unlimited fund raiser. Also, a picture of m'first dog, her award for Natural Ability from NAVHDA and her score sheet. RIP, Cookie.

AndersBudget or not.. This was a great display! I`m also dreaming of a big trophy room with full mounted animals in their "natural" sorroundings, but will I ever afford it..?? Hmm.. I guess I`ll just make the best out of what I`ve got..
Thanks for shearing!

OldsargeUh, Martin, did you miss the word "budget" or does split cane cost a whole lot less in Goteburg? Don't I wish!
