Addition is looking super! Looks like the framers did an excellent job with the deep headers over the windows, etc., and with all those studs and plates, you shouldn't have to worry for places to put your screws for the mounts. -TONY

We finally got some tongue and groove up, and the fireplace is going in as well.

Wow, that has a nice look!

I doubt it will be up to Shootaway's standards Mad but I think it looks great.

Nice house, looks much better with the new siding.Great idea in making that ceiling high.Must get larger windows or high ceiling serves for nothing. If I were you I would cut down all those ugly trees and let the sunshine in.

Why are you allways telling people to get sunlight in their trophy rooms. That will just fade the mounts and destroy them. You give the worst advice here and most everyone has figured that out.

Hughiam, I think the room is looking good, can't wait to see it finished.

My builder kept saying you need more windows. But due to UV rays damaging mounts we really were careful about the amount of direct sunlight in the room. But there are widows up high on the North side(indirect light) and low on the North and west sides(blocked by trees). There is also light coming in through the bedroom loft on the South, but it too will be indirect. To brighten up the room we used off white paint and very light stain. That way it won't look like a dungeon.

because many people are scared to come out of the dark and therefore do not get the benefits of vitamin sunshine.Aren't trophies meant to be seen? After being in the sun my eyes can't see that well in the dark, therefore I can't see the trophies in dark places.Artificial light is good, but only at night.

Looks really good.

That green carpet ads a nice touch of class.

Can't wait to see it full of trophies.

Very Nice!! I especiallly like the fireplace and the wood wall behind it. And you have plenty of room for future additions. Well done!

That is a MAN room if I ever saw it. That's why I go to work everyday...to hopefully have something that nice in the future. thumb

I hate to ask anyone's finances but I am curious as to what the wood interior walls cost and what kind of wood it is. It looks great and I am thinking about the same type interior for my room.

Could you give some cost firgures if you dont mind!
