JohnWKielySomething a bit different. A hare.
I recently received my latest mount. That of a hare (European)and thought I would post a photo.
I was after something a bit different and finally decided on this style of mount.
I made the rack out of a piece of Acacia and used Fallow Deer antler tips for the pegs.
Very happy with how it turned out.
A photo.

It is hanging in my trophy room, in amongst the deer at the moment.

lavacaI love it. I have a hanging duck mount that I'm very fond of. The ducks are on a strap, on a coat hook next to the back door next to the kitchen. This mount would be great in the same place.

Charlie64.
Great 'mount' ..... you could lay it down among these ones and nobody would spot the difference!
Did you shoot it in Europe ?
Your trophy room is fantastic ! Congratulations. Would happily spend an hour or three in there with a good malt !
How have you labeled all the mounts - the small wall plaques ??
Well done

JohnWKielyCharlie64,
Thanks for the comments. No the hare was shot in Australia.
The name tags on my mounts just gives the species, date shot and the Douglas Score of the head.
