quickshotWhat's the cost of a full body mount leopard?
I realize that the costs will very greatly by the habitat used, wall or floor mount and if cabinet is used etc....
but what is the cost (if you don't mind sharing) of your leopard mounts?
I am getting bid at approx $4K for the cat plus , more for Habitat, and cabinet-------floor mount on a cabinet is what I am looking at right now

David CulpepperBefore I went on a leopard hunt, did not get one, I discussed a mount for a leopard with my taxidermist and the cost was right at about $3,500 for just the cat. The pose for the cat can also effect the price like whether it has an open mouth or not. Did not discuss in much detail since it was before the hunt and since I was not lucky enough to get one I have not discussed it with him further.

quickshotthanks guys. Very nice cats too!
My cat has arrived and I just need to squeeze the cash out of the budget to get him done.

Jerry,
Does that pedestal open up for small storage inside? Very nice mount.

Very nice work Jerry. It's stunning! And IMO, reasonable.

This one doesn't have doors but I'm sure it could be done for an additional charge of course.

BlankSam Raby of Bluffdale, Utah did mine for about $3200. Very relaxed pose that my wife liked, and fits in good with the rest of the decor in my Africa trophy rooms.

BlankWill get into Reno Thursday afternoon with Paul, and be on the floor Fri and Sat. Want to touch bases with a couple Outfitters, finalize a blacktail hunt I have booked in Oregon, and pick up trinkets for the wife.
My trophies from this last hunt are supposed to ship out of Harare today. She is looking at a brand new "elephant leather" sofa, so will see if I have any mad money left after that!

Aaron NeilsonQuickshot - I've have many of my cats life-size, including a couple leopards and 7 lions. As Oakman recommends, its very important to use someone that is familiar with cats. Good luck!

ManyatheloThat Leopard and bushbuck is unbelievable! Wow

safari-lawyerI saw the leopard on the bushbuck at Reno and stopped dead in the aisle. I am not big on the leopard mounts where they are attacking prey or where they are featured with a kill, BUT THIS LEOPARD HAD THE BEST FACE WORK THAT I'VE EVER EVER SEEN. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. IT ABSOLUTELY LOOKED ALIVE.
I stopped and told the artist that the face was spectacular. I am glad to see it again.

I agree. This was one of his best works I have seen. He does an awesome job! I like how he left it looking natural, not snarling like some guys do.

SalmonellaPhil Soucy of Libby Montana has done most of my predator mounts.
He is a master of masters.
I would say b/t $3500 & $4000.
Not my leopard, but most likely the best Leopard mount I've ever seen in my life.
