I bought Verl's book and his lead bullet hardness tester 2 months ago. So the business is still active. That's all I can say for sure.

I just got 2- 4 cavity moulds from him less than a month ago. One was a .452-260 wfn and I have cast 3500 bullets with it. I checked the last 4 that I dropped out out of it and they were within 2 tenths of a grain of each other.

his moulds are expensive, my 2 cavity mould is setting me back 150 or 160 $$ takes two or three weeks by what veral told me, he really likes exact dimensions , so usually sends out slugs for you to slug your bore and chambers , measure nose length etc etc and then he takes it from there
i got two really nice moulds made by ballisti cast , a 250 gn wfn mould for the 44, and a 180 gn which was a bit of a copy of the famous lyman mould which spat the 172 gn casts out for the 357 ...very happy with both, they drop nice bullets, if you are going to shoot a lot , and intend on keeping your 45 till you go to your grave get veral to make you a mould
i have got his phone number/e mail some where if thats of any use

Well, now I know! Couple emails back and forth to Veral, send off a money order, wait 2-3 weeks and these came yesterday.

You got lucky, perhaps. Veral is having an in-stock mold sale - 40 percent off list prices. E-mail him for the mold-price list.

It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don't say it. Sam Levinson

for about the same price you can buy a ballistic cast mold that is a much better built mold.

I have several LBT molds. Are are excellent and cast great bullets! I will stick with the LBT design. There will be a new 16 b rifle mold coming to me in the near future.

Dittos plus. I've used several LBT molds of various vintages, and several balisticast molds. The balisticast is about the best made mold you can buy, and the bullets shoot very accurately. They have many lbt styles, and can vary the weight by running the cherry deeper or shallower.

Veral will bad mouth the cherry cut molds, but my 4 cavity .475" 310 lfn mold produces bullets that will shoot three into 1 1/2" at 100 yds from a wheel gun. Honestly I bet the combo is cable of 1" or under, I just can't hold steady enough to shoot that well. I didn't do any sorting of bullets by cavities, just cast a pile, did a visual inspection, lubed, loaded and shot.
