most anything on the slow side and with velocity's in the 850 fps range will work just fine.
i prefer unique in the 9-45 [one of the few places it is my powder of choice] with lead.

I've used a 220 grain H&G copy cast bullet made by NEI over 4.5 grains of Bullseye or 231 in what ever case I've got and igniting with Win LP primer.
This worked well for Bullseye and plinking.

I like 5.0 gr. of Unique with the 200 gr. G&G #68 bullet. Very accurate in several 1911's I have and feeds like greased owl poop.
