cheap , simple and clean way to lube?
I have a few hundred 357 bullets that are many years old, and the lube is flaking or off some, and suspect on others. I hate to throw them out, and hate to spend a lot of money to buy a lube machine (I don't think I'll ever get into casting bullets), and want to know what you all think is the cheapest way to prevent re lube them for shooting in a 357 carbine.
All suggestions valued!

Put 'em in a pan and cover them with mineral spirits (or something more volatile if desired) and swish them around to remove most of the dryed up lube. Then relube them with Lee Liquid Alox.

You'll have to buy the Alox, but it also works to lube squeeky car door hinges, so it won't be a total waste! <GGG>

How fast can you open and close the car doors before you start getting leading in the hinges? <G>

Ed, it ain't a question of speed, it's a matter of pressure.

If your mother-in-law sits on the door while opening and closing, it won't do well a-tall. In that case, you'll probably have to go to moly. Or, alternatively, find a skinny mother-in-law.
