9mm 124gr cast loads
I shoot almost totaly cast loads in my pistols both 45 acp and 9mm. I have a light load I use in the 9 for speed steel plate shooting at our club shooting a 102gr bullet at 1160 fps. This load gives verrrry little muzle jump for quick shooting. We also do a little 1 on 1 racing agains each other and I need to knock down poppers quickly with force ( I use full power loads for this) so I ordered a 124gr mould for a little boost in energy on target. Any of you out there have a suggestion on recipies and what velocity you have had luck with?

Six grains of AA #5 and a standard SP primer. Extremely accurate, and very pleasant to shoot.

Good luck.

I sometimes buy 125 gr cast bullets and I make a 121 gr conical cast bullet (Lymna 356402). Using Win small pistol primers:

4.6 gr WSF 125 gr lrn 1,070.0 133.8
4.6 gr WSF 121 gr lcon 1,126.4 136.3

The velocity and powerfactor are the last two numbers. Fired from a CZ75.
