<Kevin from ND>Question for Dep. Al
Hi Dep Al,
I think that I saw on one of the boards at Shooters (wheelguns?) that you were looking for new grips for your Redhawk. IIRC you tried and were happy with Uncle Mikes?
I was shooting some dinosaur killer loads this past weekend (310 Lee RNFP at 1375 fps) and during 6 shot rapid fire strings my hands were taking a beating.
If I didnt recall this earlier thread correctly my apologies.
Best,
Kevin

Lar45I would try the Houge Monogrip on your Redhawk. I had them on mine before I sold it and they worked pretty well. I also have a set on my 4 5/8" blackhawk in 45colt. I also ran some Dino Killer loads through it. I acctually ruined the first cylinder trying to get a 405 up to 1300+fps.(I had 475 envy). The grips handled it pretty well. I now have a Bisley cylinder in it and keep things toned down just a bit.

Deputy AlHey, Kevin--
Yes, I tried the Michaels grips on the R-hawk, and the are the best fit to my hands of the several aftermarket grips I've tried. The two Pachs and the Hogues were a little too big for my hands--which takes some doing.
Sorry for the delayed response--got some distractions keeping me off the puter currently.

scroungerIt so happens I have both the Pachmyer and Hogue grips, new in the box. I bought them for a Redhawk (Not Super Redhawk) that I owned for a short while. Your choice $16 shipped.
