felixWooda' never thunk it! Interesting development. I wonder if transportation expenses from factory to warehouse has something to do with it. If so, I wonder how shipments are going to be cheaper. Maybe they will start using better feed stocks, to compete with the VV powders in terms of cleaner burning characteristics. Plus add the Aussy type stablizers in their deterrents. Yes, very interesting indeed. ... felix

BugWell, Dust Me Off! A rapid reply from Hodgdon:
My post:
Congratulations!
I am sure this will bring good things to Hodgdon. Care to give a preliminary comment? When will your website reflect the change? Any revisions, to the IMR product line, expected? Give us some NEWS!
Their reply:
We have no plans to consolidate the lines from either company. We feel that they both have unique (excuse the wording) features and advantages. We will continue to supply the products unchanged and from current plants. We look forward to doing more aggressive marketing and updating some of the IMR data etc. We hope that you will continue to use our products and appreciate the business that you have given us in the past. Looks like Phil Hodgdon may have a sense of humor! And, I also heard that they will eventually do away with those IMR metal powder cans...YEAAAAAYYYYY!!!

beagleFace it boys...we've been getting better service out of Hodgdon in the form of new pressure data and new powders than IMR. Accurate was good for a while but now, Hodgdon has pulled ahead.
May be a good thing. Might give Alliant a little tweak also./beagle
