Win. "Super-Lite" Powder...
I have a BUNCH (12-15 lbs.) of this discontinued Winchester shotgun powder. I'd love to shoot it up in any one of several rifles with cast bullets. Anyone have any loads/experience with this one...???
Thanks,
Don

Check to see if Winchester has any reloading pamphlets. Also check reloading manuals from the different company’s you may find a load listing this powder. Last but not least look on the websites for possible load data.

I just checked the 14th edition winchester phamphlet,,Just shotgun and pistol data for wsl,,it does rather well for 1 oz. 12 ga. shells,,and burns rather clean and accurate in .45 acp..maby take a look at lyman's book,,they do a good bit of cast bullet loads,,Good luck,Clay

Looks like your powder is in the 700X burning Range.

I would suggest you do a web search for "Cast Boolits" and ask around in that site providing information for the cartridges/boolits you plan to load.

My powder burn rate chart shows WSL between H-5 and Unique.
