For the trouble of buying equipment and casting your own....would a begginer like me better to just buy some cast bullets we do have a couple of makers here in Oz.

I think the answer would depend on the volume of bullets you would be shooting.
I buy some of my cast bullets because I don't have the time to produce all the bullets I want to shoot.
