Lee 90428 44/44-40 Mould
Just bought my first Lee mould. 6 Cavity 44-40. Works great, a very reasonable value. However when sized to .429 for my 44-40 the remaining crimp groove is very shallow and narrow, cannot roll a crimp at all even with Redding Profile. Used Lee Factory crimp to load for testing feeding and accuracy.

Anyone have experience, good or bad with the mold and it's crimp groove. Thanks for your response.

p.s. With this mould and bottom pour furance, you can crank out 500 in a hurry. Now just for a Star loader to size and lube at the same rate.
