Sirs: i've been shooting my 1894 cl marlin .25 with very good results with aa 1680 and 2200 and the 257420 gc. does anyone have any advice for me about using lil gun? i can't find any data and i want to start a test series aiming for a max velocity/accuracy compromise. thanks absolutely for tipping me off about thinned liquid alox when i lurked at shooters. regards, ned

Hodgdon doesn't give any spec's on 'Lil gun for 25/20, but that doesn't mean you can't use it. They do have a warning (recall) on that powder. I haven't used it in any of my 25/20's, but it's close to the 4227 burning rate and I have had real good luch it. ...Geo web page

Hey Ned....I been using Lil Gun in the 25-20 for about a year.

Use 7.5 grains with either the 257420, 257312 or 257463.

This will run about 1650-1700 and gives good accuracy and burns clean./beagle
