Dale's thought is a good one. I'd make the nose ogive start point at .304" and then taper up to the first band end at .306", thus giving a engraving range of .002" for the bullet (.001" tapered engagement on loading per side). This gives you a little lattiude for rifling land top wear and you can seat back a smidge if you happen to have a totally virgin gun -- not many of those out there --.

How about posting the final drawing and let's start collecting the "ayes" and final comments on this one. It will take a bit of time to get the needed people, unless you do it single cavity in which case folks will readily buy it for experimentation purposes. We all know we will eventually get a rooski or a smelly (we are semi-collectors at heart anyway, we just like to shoot them)
