Saeco 41 mag mould #410, 220gr: any experience?
I'm thinking about a mould for a 41 mag Ruger Bisley. Thinking of a Saeco #410 (220gr flat point, plain base, non-keith style). Anyone have any experience with this mould? Anyone know anyone who uses it? Good, bad?

Curious how it would work for a deer hunting bullet. Seems like everyone is claiming heavy weight, large meplat bullets are the great killers. I like the idea of a long bullet. The Keith style seems ok, but always seemed to me as a somewhat pointy wad cutter. Feedback welcome.

Ive used that bullet it looks like an ideal .41 bullet but ive never got it to shoot under 2 inches in any of my guns. If your looking for an accurate bullet try the ballistic cast 230 swc mold that bullet shoots in every .41 ive tried it in.

Catboat, I have the SAECO #410 in 4 cavity, and a "plinking" load of 8.5 grtains of AA #2 Improved behind the bullet is a one-hole load offhand at 45' out of my 4" Model 57. (I haven't shot it in full-tilt loads, because I figure there is no reason to take all 100 aspirin, even if there ARE that many in the bottle, if you know what I mean...)
And a quick story: I have a friend in Great Britain that came across in March of 2004 and spent a week. He took my 4" and outshot me with it, and hadn't fired a handgun since shortly before they were banned in 1996. The ONLY thing in the world that really ticks me off is to have somebody outshoot me with my own firearms!!!
I say buy the mould and learn what load your revolver likes...
