Unique and chamber rings

Hi;
I just read on the cb-l that Unique causes rings in rifle chambers, no wads, and that Shiloh and Ruger are aware of this. Is anybody out there aware of this? I use a lot of Unique in my Sharps.

I've heard of that happening with filliers/wads, but not without. Where do you shoot in Marathon? The Brass Monkey?

Never heard it and it'll take a lot more than an internet rumor to make me believe it. Unique has been used for reduced rifle loads for a good hundred years and may be the most commonly used powder for that purpose. I suspect that were there a real problem, we would have heard about it long ago.
