Lar45Elk today!!
Hi all, the Son and I got out for the opener of Elk Season here. The ranges were abit far for the 454, so the 06 had to do, FLGC sorry. We had mine loaded by 9:30 and the Son's by 1:30 and were home in time for dinner. Tommorrow were haveing a cut and wrap party. We had Cow permits so no Antler pics. I"m thinking that 2 Elk should make a pretty good sized pile in the Freezer. There were more Elk in the Second group, but the wife didn't feel up to going. I don't know where we would have put a 3rd Elk if she did shoot one.
Tired, but doin the happy dance.

Deputy AlWell done, LAR--a freezer-full indeed. No joy on deer so far, but did get some quail last weekend. Hope the mountains stop burning before deer season ends and fall turkey opens.
What a place.
