I believe Lyman's 410429 was made for the .401. I use them in my .41 mag. Out of wheel weight metal they fall out at 240 grs.

I've been using Leadhead's 270 grain gas checked .411 diameter bullets in my Encore rifle barrel. A nice lighter bullet that looks good in the case and has performed well for me. I started with 45.0 grains H4895 for the 24" barrel but you may want to use a faster powder for the shorter barrel. YMMV

I have tried Cast Performance & True Shot's 265's and them seem to work well. I have a few of the Lead Head 270's and gonna try em. I am using RE7 and gettin 2100fps outta Hornady's 300 grainer and not at a max load yet! [Big Grin]
