aliveincc9.3 bullets ?
I have ordered cast bullets from Montana Bullet Works and Beartooth. Neither have a 9.3. Where do I get cast slugs for my 9.3 x 62 ?

SingleshotloverGo to castboolits@gunloads.com. Scroll down to the group buy section. There should be a group buy going on for the 9.3 bullet mold. I believe it is a NOE mold and I have two, great molds and well worth the asking price. Frank
Here are the Boolitts I cast from the NOE mold.
... and my mold which is a twin cavity, one HP.

Andre MertensSome years ago, I was lucky to find an old but unused Lyman # 366408 mould. It's single cavity and casts a 245 g bullet out of Lyman nr. 2 alloy.

3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact.
5 shots are a group.

Black FlyAliveincc,
You might find a Lyman mold similar to Andre's on Ebay. They appear from time to to time. I think the group buy would be the best way to go, but I got a double cavity similar to Andre's on Ebay. It did take a couple years though until I finally got one at the price I was willing to pay.

aliveinccGentlemen, Thanks for the info. I am not a caster. I need slugs to load.
If I got a 9.3 mold it just might be enough to make me get back into casting again. Problem is, I haven't seen an H&I die of proper dimensions. Where are you guys getting yours from? What diameter are you sizing them to?
Me, I'd want a mold somewhere between 280 and 320 grains. What is the nomional weight of that NOE mold?

clintsfollyOn the Cast Boolit Board look up Buckshot he make them for Lyman/RCBS and Star. I have 2 of his for my sizer in .461 and .368. His work is super and fairly fast. The bad is he will only make them in sizes that Lyman wont make. Clint
Thanks. If nothing else, the H&I will be handy for resizing lubed .375's down.

Reverend RecoilGet some un-lubicated 0.358 cast rifle bullets. Bullet lubricant can be removed with boiling water. Paper patch them with two wraps of thin tracing paper. Final diameter will be 0.368". They shoot well in my 9.3x74R rifle. Several dead hogs would agree. Good luck.

Fat_AlbertIf you want to pan or Alox lube(don't have lubesizer) then you can have Lee make a push thorugh sizer in .366-.367-.368 for $32 ea.+ shipping. They work great. I uses cast 338gc bullets and size them to .332 for my 8x56Hug. I have also downsized jacketed bullets with them. Jacketed bullets have some springback so I uses a .298 sizer to make .299 bullets from 125 gr .308 for a 7.35 Carcano. I have taken 158gr .357 SP to .329 in two steps useing my .332 as the 1st. step. They will seat GC's. I uses Imperial sizeing lub on jacketed bullets. Andre Mertens: what was the as-cast size of the bullets out of the Lyman 366408 mold?

clintsfollyI have found that cast has to be bigger then a jacketed bullet. So with this and a some advice in mind I got a .368 sizer from Buckshot. Using my Zastasa lh I have been getting good groups and shot my buck with it this yr. Clint
