Lyman or TC mould for 45 caliber Maxi-ball

Does anyone know if the Lyman and Thompson Center

moulds are the same.

If so. Are the handles the same also?

I have Lyman handles I could use. Thanks Kenny

I think I have used Lee handles on a TC maxi ball mould, but never tried Lyman, to the best of my memory.

And Lyman and TC maxis should be close enough that if the diameter is right for your rifle you would never tell them apart.

I believe the Lyman handles will work on TC molds. I only have one TC mold and it's been decades since I used it but am pretty certain I used my Lyman handles.

I just bought a Lyman maxi-ball mould on ebay.

My handles are Lyman.

The flea-bay gods were looking out for me.

Less than $30 including shipping.

My max bid was much more. Kenny
