10 gauge slug molds

10 gauge slug molds
am looking for a 10 gauge slug mold.. cannot find one anywhere.. any suggestions? bewildered

Look for the cast boolits group and they are most likely the best place to get you on to such a mold!

Yes that is the spelling you want to look for, NOT the typo common to some of my posts!

My suggestion would be to get a Lee 12 ga mould, take it apart and chuck it into a 4-jaw lathe and turn your own with a small boring bar.

sure you need to get ahold of a lathe but I do not believe I have seen any slug moulds in 10 ga.

10 GA is larger diameter than 12 GA so the lathe idea won't be viable.

Small fish,

You are making the hole in the mold bigger, so when you fill it with lead the resulting slug will be bigger too.
