The DaneI use the Lyman 140gr
Whatever you do stay below @1600fps. The fast twist tend to throw fliers due to inclusions in the lead bullets, if driven fast.
You can go as fast as you like but the learning curve of getting bullets to fly true is steep as a hockey stick with the 6.5x55!

admiralThe NOE .269" 163gr. mold is a good one for the 6.5 X 54mm Mannlicher. They are trying to get some orders for a production run on the NOE bullet mold forum.

wetibbeLyman has to be the hands down leader in lead bullet casting.
http://www.lymanproducts.com/lyman/bullet-casting/They have been around since the late 1800's.
In addition to perusing their website you may also want to buy their Cast Bullets Handbook which is chockfull of information. And get a free catalog.

HuviusI happened into a used sporting shop today and the guy had molds for $20.
He has what looks to be a vintage Lyman 6.5 mold of about 140grs.
I will stop in again and see just what it is.
It is a Lyman 268455 gas checked mold.
I see a 266455 offered now which is a 127gr gas checked bullet.
This one may be a custom, made a little bigger.
