HBC prototype target
Pictured targets shot with a modified 311329 made in the same manner as the 30-210-HBC-trk/A. This new bullet drawing will be posted on this thread quite soon.

This 100 yd target while decent isn't unusually good for this design. This loading at 1800 fps which has made 8.9"/5 rds at 600 yds under good conditions, which is the P shaped black rectangle outlined at the right. Note around 50% of that group's dispersion is in one rd....they all woulda made that paper plate anyway.

More DE-tales later.

SO, what's so great about a 8.9" five shot group?

OH.

600 HUNDERED YARDS!!

SIX-HUNDERED!!!

Not a 3 shot, but 5 of 'em.

That means at 100 it would do MUCH MUCH less.

So why buy jacketed bullets?
