First pic is the total catch before their "jail break" that left only 9 in the trap. Second pic is the newcomers---most I've ever seen in a pic at once---I counted 35. Trap will be set tomorrow night and report to follow--

Live OakWhile not trapping, I have sows and piglets coming to the feeder at my place. The problem is, they show up in daylight! Not at all at night like normal. They are very regular till I sit! They were at 5 PM now showing at 11:00 AM. If I don't connect soon they will be as big as those in your trap!

That's the most I've seen too. In order to capture on camera all the pigs at a feeder at once I would have to put the camera further away for a broader field of view.
I may try that, and at a different angle too.

dustofferLandowner took the trap "out of service" but left the doors down and 18 shoats pushed their way into the trap last night---so he had to deal with them. But, that is OK as that makes 27 removed from the population in 2 weeks.

KenscoI find a lot of "takers", particularly Yankees are; "Yes", "No", "Yes", "No", "Maybe Yes", "Maybe next time" type "takers".
I had to cut-off two guys. You couldn't count on them. Either their "expert" son-in-law (who had never eaten wild hog) would wave them off, or their wife would change her mind. I'll give anyone a second chance, but I get tired of dealing with the person that doesn't wear the pants.

dustofferGot some pictures off the game cam of the "unintended catch" I mentioned above--doesn't appear they were a bit concerned about things except for the free food. Sort of like some of the lib-tard folks out there.
Was out for a sit with the thermal last night and heard hogs all around us but no targets other than a skunk, a coon, deer, and some sort of rat that was scavenging corn. On the way home we stopped and scanned a few fields and found one sounder of about 12 but not nearly as many as I expected to see. Kind of creepy parking beside the road and scanning at night--high-tech peeping toms I guess.
