shoulder mount. also shoulder mount of my sable, rug with head on for my 14 ft. croc. and full body mounts for the suni and red duiker..

jdollarinterestingly enough, their tusks are up underneath a cartilage plate on each side if their snout. they are usually mounted with their tusks sticking out the side of the snout, but hey never appear this way in the wild. even when fighting they use this cartilage to butt their opponent but rarely tusk their foe. your trivia for today!!

Very interesting! But they do have some impressive dentition when they have their mouth open, do they not?

David CulpepperVery nice pig. My last two trips to Africa I have tried to get a bushpig, so for no luck. Bushpig are still on my wish list for my next trip over which is hopefully in 2009.

jdollarbushpigs are usually nocturnal. however, in the area i hunted, you could see them out and about all day long. the only hard part was trying to get somthing other than a running shot. and yes, their dentition was pretty impressive once you pulled their lip up.

jdollarMoz. with Bahati Adventures. Johan( the owner/outfitter) posts here and you could not ask for a better person to deal with or a better operation to hunt with. when the most common plains game seen are sable and warthog, you know you are in a quality area!
