Live OakI have patience
Went to one place Wednesday night. A pig showed up at about 10:30 PM. He danced around the feeder for awhile but I could not get a good shot. The KR Blue stem seed heads had sprung up and reflecting too much light. Something spooked him and he took off! He came back dancing some more only to take off again. This time he did not show back up. I went back last night giving him until 11:30. This time I sling bladed down the KR! Well 11:20 he came dancing back in. Bounced in and out of the light three times. Third time he took too long! 416 Ruger caught him through the right ear then between the neck and shoulder out the left flank just under the left leg. He made a quarter turn then down! Maybe 150 lbs

StonecreekTip: Reduce your photos to 1080x pixels before uploading and they will fit on the screen.

Larry MatherneWell done! Do you always use marginal calibers when hunting hogs? Certainly a 700 Nitro would have been more appropriate.

Live OakI do have a 500 AR! If Triple River can get it to shoot where it looks and I find a scope that's a tough as it is I'll use it again.
I reduce em to 6X8" on Photo Elements and save on low, looks ok on my machine. Next time I'll use 5X7".
