Got a pleading call from the landowner where I bowhunt begging me to come reduce the hog population. I drove out and checked the sign and sure enough, they have been rooting up his pasture. So yesterday, I set up the trap and baited it, and laid a couple of corn trails from the rooting sign to the trap. This morning I went out to check the trap, not expecting anything and found 3 in the trap and one smaller shoat that outside that I couldn't get a shot at--but, three more to the buzzard buffet and $15 more in bounty monies to pay for the corn I use as bait.

I've been wondering where you've been hiding lately.
