Piggy report from South Texas?
Hey Guys,

Am thinkin' about a trip in October or January. Given the odd weather in South Texas (around Dilley) this year, how are piggies doing?

Thanks!

Gonna be hot in October, and that is bowhunting season--January would be more to my liking, but then you are competing with the smoke-pole hunters.

Come and shoot a bunch.

The rains have been timely in South Tx translating to a good fawn, quail and pig crop this year. If the pigs are on the ranch you will be hunting you can kill them in Oct just as easily as you could in Jan. A litle moisture and a cool day will help but it can be hot in Jan too.
