Went pig hunting this morning with the SW 500 using 465gr WFNGC cast bullet at 1300 fps,close to New Caney,Texas got a 190lb boar and had more chances,saw some that had to be 200+ I just could not get close enough.I will try to figure out how to post pictures.

I like the 500 a lot.I have 17? moulds. I cast my own bullets for it 325 WFNGC to 630 WFNGC lot cheaper to shoot that way.I have shot about 3000 thru the SW 500 and 500 thru the SW 500 PC Hunter.For hunting purposes I water drop the WW for a hardness of 24-28 plenty hard enough for anything.
