I've posted up about the feral hog bounty here in the county, and this week I got a letter advising me I was selected to receive a voucher for a corral-type hog trap. The voucher covers the gate, 5 20'x5' panels (4x4 squares), 16 t-posts, and a spool of tie wire. I have 2 more panels to go with it so it will be a good-sized trap, about 100' around. I'll put a tripod feeder inside as I have done with my other one, and put the camera on it to track usage. They have extended the bounty period thru next September, so maybe I can cash in another couple of Benjamins.

Only problem with the freebie--no place to put it, at least not until after deer season and only if that landowner would like to have me set it up on his place.

Hope you get that thing set up and working.

Think you could put an ad in the local paper on the cheap? Good luck.

Went by to check on what I needed to do at the dealer and he doesn't have them in stock yet--so maybe the mud will dry up enough I can get my trailer out when he does have them in stock.
