Sierra GK or Nosler BT?
If your choices were limited just upon any of the mentioned bullets, which would be your choice ?

180 gr bullet to be used in either 30-06 or 308 win and in hogs that can easily weight more than 300 lbs ....

We are not talking about shooting abilities, just plain bullet construction ...

Resulting choice .... and reasons ?

Thank you all in advance

This link will give you some information on some of the hogs I have shot. The weights are estimated live weights, some of them were weighed after being field dressed and some weren't.

Both are extreamly bad. It would be hard to say which is worse. Those are the 2 worst hunting bullets I know of.

Sorry.

Why are you limited to these two choices? I would choose (just about) any flat base bullet over a BT bullet for hogs. If you're limited to "cheaper" bullets, why not choose a 180 Gr. Hornady or Speer spitzer or round nose with flat base?? I'll admit that the Grand Slam or the Partition bullets are the first to come to mind as being better, although they are in the next tier as far as price goes.
