TweesdadBack-up gun?
Hi folks,
Leaving on 10/28 for a boar hunt. Using a single shot rifle in 45-70. Outfitter suggests carrying a back-up gun of at least .357 magnum. I can see his point, and have no problem with it except that I don't own a .357.
Question: What factory load would you use in a Sig P220 .45ACP?
In the event that I screw up my first shot, and don't have time to reload, I really do think that a magazine load of .45's will do the job.
Opinions?

jeffeossothe 45 is superior to the 357 in this situation.... with the potential exception that the 45 is an autoloader.. but that's arguably
