15" Hog

Bullet_.37515" Hog
This is the pics of a afternoons hog hunting. We are not really trophy hunters but my wife now has the bragging rights to a 15" warthog.
To make everything worse it is a 1/4" longer than the best warthog tusks I have. She used a 22Hornet and made a very good lung shot. The hog went for about 30 meters.

Bullet_.375This was at Tom Burke. North western part of South Africa, right on to the Botswana border.
There are a lot of warties there!

333_OKHWhen my wife looked at this she said "Ugg...Beauty and the Beast." She like the contrast from such a primitive looking animal and your beautiful wife. Great tusks on her boar and a trophy that I am sure she will remind you about often!

billinthewildYou are doubly blessed. A beautiful wife, and a hunting companion. I wish you the best of times together.
