Finally the pigs hit the feeder !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some pictures taken with a Cuddeback No Flash trail camera I set near my feeder. You will notice how different our pigs are from the ones you have in texas. here we have the european variety.

Nothing great in the bunch, they have been visiting the feeder for several days now and they seem to be the same bunch. its seems there is a nice sow and six medium size young pigs

Bill,
The first one is an armadillo. We have several species, this one is the hairy tatoo (tatú peludo), we also have the tatú mulita, and the tatú rabo molle, then the smaller one is the mulita. The one of the pic is not very tasty and it's known to live near the farm cementeries because they eat rotten meat. They eat dead cows or any other dead animals found in the farm. Because of this they normally have very bad smell.

The last picture is an otter. Not really a true otter but is how we call them down here. The true otter, that in South America we have tWo kinds, down here we call them lobos de ríos (river wolfs), these are the giant otter from the amazon basin and the small one which is common to every country down here.

Anyway, what we call otter looks like a big water rat that can weight 7 or 8 pounds. It's is also known as Coypo. Very tasy.

In the last picture, a Nutria or Coypu. Most folks here in the states know them as Nutria. They are a huge pest in Louisiana and the southeast, and in parts of Texas.

Great looking pictures of the porkers.

Nice pigs.
I've killed my share of nutrias here in our tanks. Isn't "nutria" "otter" in espanol?
'Had one that bit my heinz57 dog on the nose then dove in the water. I blasted it. She was so pissed, she dove in and retreived it. She'd never retreived a darn thing in her life!
