That would make a dandy farmyard pet.
How young was it when first found? Age now?

A hunting farm in Namibia. The warthog was hand reared after being found in the veld. Now 7 - 8 years old and roams the farm. Shot once by a bow hunter but lived (I kid you not). On the day we saw him, we had a tracker with us otherwise the photos would have been 'still lifes' rather than 'real lifes' !

Scriptus
The late Fred Burchell had a pet boar warthog at Mpongo Park who when seeing anyone would come running emitting a series of loud grunts and squeals expecting a chunk of brown bread. The poor fellow had been snared in his early life and had lost a rear hoof.
Piggy met his end when a friend of Fred's had been invited to shoot an impala. As they were walking through the gate, Fred was called back to sort some matter out. The "friend's" attention was caught by the sight of a big set of tusks approaching in a most threatening manner. Piggy's head because of the limp, had an exaggerated movement and together with the excited squeals and grunts, the "friend" was of the opinion that he was about to find out what a pig could do with his tusks and so the friendship ended with Fred upset and the "friend" being told to go home sans impala.
