I got this picture and a brief blurb in an email today. Very nice! I've no idea if this is valid info.

"This pig was caught 300kms south of Katherine, Northern Territory Australia. They only caught it because their dogs were going missing and it was eating their dogs!"

I don't know anything about the picture but the head alone on that bugger looks to be the size of a horse!

I've seen the photo with a different set of details, so I have no clue which is accurate -- if any.

I'd like to hear the real story behind this monster.

Also, while it may have been innocent enough in an effort to perhaps clean up blood from the photo, both versions I have seen had been 'shopped a bit. I haven't fully scrutinized either to determine to what extent retouching had been done, however.

That is one HUGE hog.
