David CulpepperWarthog Measurements are in
Just got back from the taxidermist where I finally put a measuring tape on my warthog from October 2005. The measurements are 14 1/16 and 14 8/16, which I believe make rowland and ward which is a min. of 13. Overall SCI score puts it right at 38 if I measured correctly. I think I will have a real tough time to out due this one.
uffda... thats a nice pig!!! Congrats.

David CulpepperTo show y'all how luck goes. This piggy was taken the day after I got out of the hospital where I spent 5 days with a stomach infection of some type. My PH knowing that I would not be able to stalk any game, still too weak but wanted to hunt on my last day in country, went to a water trough where he had seen this guy and a huge female. When we drove up the huge female was there but I promptly missed a 150 yd shot on her. So, we set up tp folding chairs just on the side of the dirt road leading up to the water trough and at last light this guy finally showed up. If I would have gotten the big female, I probably would have stopped hunting then and would never have seen the big guy.

nomrcyDavid,
Here are the listings of the top 10 warthogs taken with a rifle. Even though yours isn't top 10-it is still a monster hog and would be gold medal (in the top 1/3 of those listed in the SCI book)
