Re: CA & TX AR members and any other Ornery SOBs
Details? I might be interested as long as I don't have to have my picture taken with some of you ugly guys.

I think that place is now closed but I'd be interested in a group hunt if Ray is the chief cook and bottle washer and will tuck me in at night.

Where is Ray's ranch at?

From California, head east until you smell it, then south until you step in it!

1. No whining once we set foot on the property

I don't whine!

2. No beer that costs more than $7.99 a 12 pack

If you insist!

3. No white or blush wines

There's hope for this group, yet!

4. Only cigars big enough to double as billy club are allowed

You must be buying, right?

5. Cartridges must be older than the shooter

Well, the only one I own younger than me is the .450 Rigby I'm trying to sell. Guess I'll bring the 6.5x55 unless I can get Perry's Pedersoli bought and converted by then. Hammered double and pith helmet in Texas? Sounds like fun!

Okay I'm a South Texan and am in. I'm only 35 but I'm already pretty damn grouchy. I've got a wife that nags me, too many kids, and a bunch of whiny assed employees. Thankfully, the mother in law has passed so there is hope.

Since I don't own any of those new WSMs, all my calibers are older than me.

Ray might not let me on his place because I once told him that a real hunter would never shoot an animal in the arse.

Looking through the gun safe, it will have be the 375H&H or the 416 Rigby!
